Women Issues - Tips for Enjoying Summer

Author: Michael Russell

Enjoy the outdoors. With so many things to do outside, take some time out of your busy schedule by hiking, playing some sports or even walking. The outside fresh air is good for the body, helps you clear your mind, and ultimately lifts your spirits. Just remember to use sunscreen to avoid being burned, and wear a hat and sunglasses if you are out in the sun a lot. Having a heatstroke or a burn is no fun.

Get your toenails painted. If you think your feet look ugly, just paint your toenails and see for yourself. It is like giving your feet an instant makeover. Painted toenails makes your feet look pretty. Just go to your nearest drugstore or any store that sells nail polish and pick up a nice shade of color for a couple of dollars. Try putting a ring around your toe to add extra glamour.

Eat fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables. Even if you live in a concrete jungle, there is bound to be farmer's market. These people sell products fresh from the farm. The freshness you get out of these vegetable and fruits is worth the extra dollar or two. Not only will you be eating fresh but also these foods are high in fiber, minerals, and vitamins. This nutritious diet helps your heart and lets you lead a disease free life style.

Invest in a sundress. Many shops sell sundresses, so take your time, and buy a sundress that fits your body style. If you cannot find one you like, just get your sewing machine you can stitch in yourself. Sundresses are often easy to make. You will be surprised how many times you wear it. It does not matter whether you are in working in your garden or working in the kitchen. The comfort and freedom the sundress provides is priceless.

Wear light makeup in the summer time when you are outside. The heat and humidity will make a mess of your face if you are still wearing heavy makeup. Instead, try lightening your makeup by putting on your face some bronzer in place of foundation or any other oil-free products to fight shine. Let your inner glow shine through, be carefree, and try going out with very little makeup as possible. Add some color to your wardrobe when possible. After wearing the black and beige all the winter, try wearing some bright summer shades. Add tops that contain solid colors or bold patterns to your wardrobe. Summer is all about wearing playful, light, and easy colors so go wild and try a bright color to work.

You can enjoy summer season ever year by following the listed above steps. Do not spend another summer hiding your feet or body just because you think you are not beautiful. If any friend asks you to join them in some outdoor activity, go out and have some fun.
